Ok, so even if the XP is reset, just try and calculate how much XP you think it would be from 70-71, then farm the hell out of Oshu'gun powder until the expansion comes out. Then just spend a day turning it all in, and you're the first to 71. Congrats.

What happens is #3, you get nothing, xp is reset when the new xpac comes out

There was no XP reset with BC -.-
I remember good when I got BC, i startet with lvl 60 and ~200/xxxxxxx EP.
The ~200 probably was part of the QuestEP which brought me to lvl 60.

Well, I remember it was like this from own experience and the most other stuff on this thread is just speculation.

Lol I remeber having this happen to me a few times. I think this is just a way to jip you out of easy gold. Because as we all know exp=gold at lvl 70, however that crystal powder crap drops like mad off everything in nagrand. Dear Blizzard, :FU2:

well, if anyone here is doing this as we speak, you can tell use, now i just had an Idea to replicate this scenario

This IS on emu servers, first have a gm get to level cap, then add oshu'gan crystal powderX100 and tun in with a repeatable quest turn in mod, do that for a few hours, and then you turn off server, raise level cap, and see how much Xp you really have towards level -_-...
