Similar to the warlock one, except not as limited by a) time (6 minutes on warlock teleport) and b) actually bringing a warlock to the raid.

The only sideback compared to the warlock version is that you're either 9 or 24 manning the boss.

So, heres what you do.

Have someone sit outside the gate, have the raid start the fight, and get someone to put a class wide buff on the class that is outside (ex. Prayer of Fortitude on a rogue inside if the class outside is a rogue). This will put the person outside in combat, and if it comes down to wiping, Professor heads towards the guy outside and eventually resets, leaving you with no lost attempts!

Good for learning the fight if the guy outside already knows what to do!

its a good concept except gimping your raid dps i'snt such a good idea, in 25 man might not make a big difference but in 10 man u need all the DPS u can get.

All I could see this being useful for is practice. And chances are if you need this type of practice, you're not even going to get CLOSE to the 6 min timer (and in a 25 man you'll almost always have a warlock).

Honestly, considering that this is one of the hardest fights out atm, you're not going to want to sit anyone, ever.

Actually that's true of almost any 10 or 25 man and even if you could afford to sit 1 person in either, then it's already at the point where you wouldn't wont to bother doing so.

Logic suggests that you didn't think about it.

And "Knowing" what to do isn't enough. I know the fight damn well as a caster DPS, but it's still a damn hard fight. There's no such thing as too much practice.

Or even better,Misdirect to the pet before Feign death could work.

I think this could be useful for the first couple of attempts for any new group. Sit a dps outside and let the other 9 people try a couple times, then swap someone different out so your first guy can try the fight. This would save you from having the obvious first couple of super fail attempts on a new boss. +Rep

someone tried this lately? my friend said it's fixed. and our constant group dont have a warlock so we cant try this either :/
