Yes i think you do lose durability when you die as a ghost, however, i was considering the lesser of 2 evils.
If you take 25% damage to all after a death already that removes 25% durability from ALL gear on character and bag and 10% from equipped for initial death.
If you die twice, once from initial and once from ghost thats 20% damage to equipped items only.
If you carry even an extra set of gear or some specific items with you then its still better to follow the method i've explained.
p.s. I thought i'd never be as retarded to achieve this again, but again, youtube distracted me and it happened again. I have re-tested this and again found the method works, so it wasn't a fluke
