In my never ending quest for contrib I'm always looking for things to share with MMOwned. I think I stumbled across another good one while surfing some twinking sites. (I'm sure many of you can figure out which one) Credit goes to Drayner for this one, but it hasnt been posted here yet, so here:

and Bone Fishing Pole Bone Fishing Pole - Item - World of Warcraft are now available to lowbies (aka twinks), although getting them is rather difficult.

You get them by receiving the consolation prize "Bag of Fishing Treasures" Bag of Fishing Treasures - Item - World of Warcraft
from fishing in Kalu’ak Fishing Derby (the bag used to only be available for 70+ quests) while losing the derby isnt hard, the bags only have about a 1% chance to drop the hat and a .4 % to drop the pole according to wowhead.

Regardless, if enough people do this for long enough, someone is bound to get it, and be super OP in whatever twink bracket they play in. Imagine a 19 feral druid with an extra 1603 AP, or a stam stacking FC with an extra 40 stam (just to give you an idea, a perfect stam lens which gives 35 stam goes for ~40-50k gold, and thats in the 39 bracket, this is good for any bracket.

Who knows, you could always luck out and get it on your 1st try. Ittl happen to 1 in 100 ppl.

TLDR
Step 1: Fish in Kalu’ak Fishing Derby
Step 2: Lose
Step 3: Get Consolation Prize
Step 4: Cross fingers
Step 5: ???
Step 6: Profit

on my battlegroups noone locks exp, so getting a BG match takes hours - still, lvling with that pole as feral druid would be sick and really fast.

Ya its easily the best thing available to a druid till 70+ If you get lucky and snag this early on, you could lvl to 80 in ~5mins.

Edit: Most twinks all paid the 25 dollars to move to their brackets BG. For US its 19, 49 Ruin, 29, 60, 69 Reckoning, 39 Nightfall.

you won't be able to use Bone Fishing Pole before lvl 45 anyway.

wheres the exploit here? looks more like a guide to me.

EDIT: you also get the "Bag of Fishing Treasures" from the normal fishing quest in dalaran.

you know that you still gotta be level 35 or higher to learn the respective profession over the skill of artisan, right? i mean yeah, you can skill fishing all the way, by just sitting in og and fish there, but still have to have the required level to learn the next rank

Patch 3.3.0 made it so that Pools will never yield trash, and seeing as you only need a fishing skill of 1 to fish anywhere, this is a very useful tip.

people trolling this thread fail. my 19 twink has 300+ cooking. you can see the achievement right here The World of Warcraft Armory i dont care if you see my name. my account is banned anyways from luaninja. you can level all secondary professions to 450 regardless of character level. l2patch notes

For everyone wondering where the exploit is...this is a ilvl200 weapon you can use on a lvl 1. That would be where the exploit is.

Its also a way to get a perf FC hat without spending 50 dollars and 50k gold. 40 stam 40 spirit on a helm is super OP on any low lvl toon 1-49+.
