I have manage to use this 5 times before the GCD initiates by binding it to mousewheel and spamming left click.

I've also found that brazier of the dancing flames is a great combo with this item. It makes you look like a fire elemental.

    There is.
Move the Flaming Oil to the action bar.

That's what I use. Works the same as a G15 macro.
    Pushing F1 will start it.

Apparently you can remove the cooldown time from the item by editing the itemcache.wdb so you can spam even without a g15. I fiddled around for a while but have no idea how to use a hex editor. Maybe someone that knows how can post instructions.

WOAHHHH Really? +2 rep every day forever if someone can remove CDs from even useless (or hopefully not useless) items.

I went into hex editor for a few hours. You can edit everything client side, even the names displayed. I went 1 by 1 through it, but after a few hours i just got bored. I edited everything to 00 instead of FF to see if it made a difference - it might have removed the cooldown, it most likely did, but it also made it impossible to be used.

Also, bumping because this NEEDS to be explored! If anyone can edit client side cooldowns on anything, I promise (like in the above) +2 rep every day for as long as I'm on MMOwned.

    Useless? USELESS? WHAT!?!

There's not just one item that can be modified client side. Imagine, thousands of items out there, removing the cooldown from a useful one of them would be... rediculous! It would be amazing!

Not to mention people without G15s could use this and spam it, without a cooldown to slow them down. Thats just a minor use. Just imagine the possiblities...

Some items may not have a server side cooldown, obviously useful things like potions would though.
