Popular misconception of this fight is its a simple burn fight, WRONG the important part is the blood power he gains and simple revision of hes abilities will tell u apart from the unavoidable he gains the majority of hes blood power from "Boiling Blood" Most guilds gather they're knowledge for encounters from Wowhead but tbh wowhead gives quite a poor overall tactic Gettin the raid to keep a keen on eye on BB marks and getting them to use abilities such as Hand of Protection Iceblock and Priest shields on both urself or raid members that have boiling blood is enough to severely limit the amount of power he receives and thus reducing the amount of marks u will get within the encounter.

Tbh i find it difficult to understand how u can beat Saurfang without ur raid receiving the "I've gone and made a mess" achievement following this tactic of avoiding as many blood boils as u can not only makes the encounter easier but is the main method to earn the achievement. There simply is no need for trying to avoid marks in my appinion just make sure ur dps are dealing with the blood beast correctly aswell and ur game

Guys easy way to do this is to get priests to Bubble the people with boiling blood so the boss doesnt gain any runic power hence no mark of blood. My guild has been doing this for 3 weeks now. It works

Tried it 2 days ago and it simply doesn't work ! I died with the dot damage :s
