You can also leave the party while in combat, when you come out you won't have the deserter buff, you don't need to die first.

if you have the 15 min dungeon timer debuff stating you joined a group for a dungeon you cant reque for 15 mins. aka that stupid clock debuff in all your examples, you will not get the abandon group 15 min debuff if you leave the group. atleast you shouldnt and i never have. i always take that first 15 mins to make sure everyone is non fail...if they are doing faggy ****ed up things i generally just pull a boss and leave group (usually im tank). lol.

more on topic i have not seen where the OP or anyone who has confirmed this has actually shown this working any other way then intended. if you wish to test this you will have to wait for your 15 min just joined a group debuff to wear off.

You get the "Dungeon Deserter" debuff if you leave while out of combat, i don't think not getting the debuff while leaving in combat is "working as intended".

u enter a random dungion and the 15 min timer starts from that point. it never refreshes, u nver get another debuff for leaving or getting kicked... u always have to wait atleast 15 min between joining. from the vid i see, u still have the dungion timer.
