I do believe this work's in any body of water in icecrown
Reason i said that is because while i was doing a 10man TOC, Someone decided to do this after we landed in the water when we killed the Twins.

Yes this works in every water from azeroth.
I sometimes do it in thunderbluff, and the sharks kill the low levels there
