Paladin arena, ooc while healing

So this might be common sense, but atleast I did not know of this before today when I found it - and I figured I might aswell post it here!

This only works for full holypaladins and it is very simple - basicly you put beacon on (one of) your partner(s) - and since beacon now works with overhealing you can stand 60 yards away from them, heal yourself (as long as you remain in los) and they will get the full effect of the heal.

Now the very best part about this is that, if you are in combat when healing yourself (and thus, healing your partner) you will remain in combat, however if you are NOT in combat you will not get into combat! Meaning you can sit down and drink immediatly after the heal - regenning your mana back from a safe 60 yards distance!

As I said I would expect most experienced holypaladins to already know of this, but I did not and I think it will be really helpful in the future! Enjoy!

only downside to this trick is if beacon is purged/dispelld off then your fukd
well your partner is.

this is useful in bg but not exactly in arena as most likely ur go in combat the second both team engage.

either way its still useful in situations maybe in 2s too for arena but definally useful in bg pvp

If a druid, paladin, rogue, dk would dispell my beacon they would probably get banned for using some sick hack! And it is very very rare that a warrior or warlock dispells it - I've played and used this at 2.4k MMR, so it works above 850

And the specc is not that weak actually, I've been playing as prot earlier but it seemed we're doing just as good with me as full holy - tho it is ofcourse very situational.

Yea, but how often are you in combat for the entire arenafight?:P I have no problems at all running away with beacon on my partner, waiting 4sec - casting a holylight on myself and instantly sitting down to drink 60 yards away - and then repeating it whenever my partner needs more healing!

I have actually tried this a few times, and while it does work, it is very difficult to make it viable. It is easily removed and you only have about a minute before eyou need to get back in combat to reaaply it.
