Pestilence about 20yards range

Hi. First, Sorry for my english;p

Today at night in Acherus: ebon hold (dk starting area) i have just tested my new weapons and my pestilence spec.

So directly to the clue. When i used pestilence i just noticed it is about 20yards lol, normally it is 5 yards with glyph, then i noticed i am turned back of the target and then when i use pestilence it jumps even to 20yards.

I wanted to do it again, normal position (face to face) and pestilence has typical 5yards range. So if you want to have pestilence 20yards range then u must turn back of your target just before you use it.

I think it is usable on arenas when the second target is far away than 5 yards

Confirmed.

I've not seen anything like it before...you basically face the target and turn towards where you want your debuffs to go and press the pestilence button at the same time and it just jumps forward.

tried doing it in the sw dummies and wouldnt guessing sw ones are >20 yards ?

This has happened to me a few times in arena. I'll be stealthing around and get knocked out by DK's pestilence despite being at least 25 yards away. Kinda sucks. lol But I can confirm it happens in arena... whether they mean to or not.

Pestilence:
Spreads existing Blood Plague and Frost Fever infections from your target to all other enemies within 10 yards.

Glyph of Pestilence:
Use: Increases the radius of your Pestilence effect by 5 yards.

You're probably misjudging the distance. Glyphed pest is 15 yards. It's something else that isn't allowing you to pestilence facing towards the heroic dummy, because you're at 15 yards in the picture you posted. Check it with chains of ice - 20 yard range, it's not the same distance.

Did you personally check it yourself or are you just speculating?

Stand in the exact same spot, face towards the heroic dummy, press pestilence and it doesnt spread anywhere, make an about face and press it, it spreads to the dummys on the outer edge.

This means facing towards the direction you wish to hit targets will increase the range compared with facing any other direction. Hence the exploit.

Not an exploit. It's 10 yards, and the Glyph increases it to 15 yards.

guys it is weird because when you are standing face to face then pestilence doesnt have such a big range and when you are turned back and facing to the direction you wish then pestilence has crazy range
