Fly In Dalaran: New Way!

With the release of the new patch you can now sign up to be chosen for Wintergrasp. Also you can now fly above Wintergrasp as long a you stay at a good distance from the ground. If you fly above Wintergrasp and there is a spot open for your faction it will ask you to join the battle or to decline. If you decline you will be ported to Icecrown. If you accept you will be ported to start the battle with your faction. I was playing around with this and I found a new way to fly In Dalaran. I was able to fly around as long as I wanted as long as I stayed away from either of the banks.

Step 1: Make your Hearthstone bind to the guy on the outside ledge of the inn in Dalaran.

Step 2: Fly into Wintergrasp.

Step 3: Wait for it to choose you to join the battle.

Step 4: Your minimap will now have a BG button on it.

Step 5. Click to leave battle.

Step 6: Now you will be on your flyer in the city and free to fly around.

Enjoy and have fun. There are some areas where it will still give you the demount debuff. However you will notice it will take a much longer time for the debuff to trigger on you.

While I always enjoy seeing new ideas on how to fly in Dalaran... I always advise against it because flying mounts in Dalaran generates lots of lag, especially when multiple people are sitting on flying mounts inside Dalaran.

But then again, Dalaran always lags anyways, so meh. lol.

I get the debuff as soon as I leave the garden sadly.

I actually think you forgot about the point that you are able to fly over dalaran aswell from like 40yd from the ground, which most likely was why you thought it took longer for the debuff to get on you.

Doesn't work, at least for me. I set hearth to the ledge, went to wg on my flyer, and hit leave BG and just got auto dismounted.
