Down KT mobs while outside the gate.

Today while doing KT in Naxx on my druid, i noticed that if you happen to be outside the gate when the KT boss fight is started, you can run right up to the gate and use the druid spell "Typhoon" (dont know if other spells work, as i only have a 80 druid). And this will cause some of the mobs inside to turn and slowly walk out the gate for you to dps down . I do not think they hit you, because i did not get hit at all.

Hardly flames. They're valid Questions. A use I could see for this is getting the achievement for killing however many Aboms before killing KT.

I don't see why they wouldn't hit you though. Not doubting, I just don't understand, through game mechanics why that would happen while being able to kill them.
