I put SoC on myself, but as soon as the mob dies, SoC explodes from myself

OK I kept trying because the OP's screenshots looked really good.
Here's a failproof tactic to make it work (WARLOCK ONLY):

1. Find the mob
2. Start using a wand (with shadow damage!) to get him to around 2000 health
3. Get summoned
4. Wait till the mob casts reflection ** AND ** you have backlash
5. Cast seed of corruption and incenerate right afther it.
6. Accept summon.
7. Dead low levels.

The reason why you need this is: Seed of Corruption automatically explodes when its 12 seconds left vs these mobs. Having Backlash proc ensures an instant kill and you'll be back on time trough loading screen.

Seems legit. In Burning Crusade, you could kill spambots as a shaman by dropping a Fire Nova Totem and log out just before it goes off.

I tried this by quickly grabbing two warlock friends after a raid and it does idd work although it takes a bit explaining and practise for the warlock to do it properly

I currently use this to kill Orgrimmar spammers .. i suggest u do the same ^^
