Yes.

And if you are smart enought to figure out how, I still advice you NOT to try it with gold, as Blizzard is actively monitoring important gold transfers.

You should stick to unlimited crafts with one set of mats and sell them back (NPC/AH).

You stated that dupes are possible using character buffers, not necessarily this exact method. And obviously "unlimited crafts" is a different method.

Actually, it's the just about the same process:

Character buffer overflow + desynch from server = profit.

Incidentally, it works on UNIQUE EQUIP items in my tests but NOT unique items. (The item just goes red, like it's been damaged. Can't buy, make another copy.)

What's woweez? Private server?

Honestly, I wouldn't mind if they did "fix" this to mail the offhand item back to you as I can think of at least two more exploits this opens up.

First, this method is old, though it might have never been posted here.

Also, I would recommend to people experimenting with character buffers to be very carefull, since it can either get your item lost, or corrupt your character (stuck in a bugged state).

Finally, I think this thread should be removed to prevent a fix from happening, character buffers are used / a key element of some of the most powerfull exploits available on retail servers (server desynch ; multi crafts with one set of mats, dupe, etc)
