[Fishing] 'Blood is thicker' quest done in seconds

Alright ive been here a while leeching, havnt really discovered anything new myself i could post, but heres something useful anyway

On the fishing daily 'Blood is thicker' by marcia chase, you have to kill an animal in borean tundra to get a blood debuff on you, jump into open water to create a blood pool, and fish into it to get bloodtooth frenzies.

The trick is that if you have multiple fishing characters ( i have 3), you can do the quest on one character, by flying to borean tundra and completing it etc, but before you hearth to hand it in, you can kill another animal to get the blood debuff on you again, hearth to dalaran and simply drop the blood pool in the fountain next to the quest giver

This lets you log to any character, grab the q, and then use the blood pool next to her to grab your frenzies in 2-3 casts.

Anyone around the q giver can fish from the pool, too, afaik it doesnt run out of frenzies and just lasts 10 minutes.


Not anythin special but it does save me 20-30 minutes if it happens to be the fishing daily

Hm, I'll try this the next time when I get the quest (got it and completed it today tho). But if I remember back.. those Pools despawn when they fished empty.
I use to do this Quest at Un'upe with my Rogue and was curious what else can be fished in these pools.. it was gone after 4 casts :|
Could be usefull, cause I have a second character with high fishing skill, but low level.
But I'll try this out! Will report back ;>

I did this for a while with a friend but like other people said you can only fish out of a pool so many times. If somebody else sees it they will likely use it too to finish the quest quickly and you can miss out.

I've been doing this for quite a while now. Everytime this quest is offered now, I simply hearth my mage to borean tundra, kill the closest animal I can find, port back to dalaran, jump in fountain, and fish. Faster than doing the quest the normal way, plus others can fish from my pool also when I'm done with it.
