This is actually a pretty neat trick to mess with noobies. The one thing I love to use it for (since I'm a hunter) is making my pet emote. Do the same technique in the original post and after yor name dissapears type '[Pet's name] sniffs the air...' So yuo get something like:

Alexial ponders what to kill next.
Fenrir sniffs the air...

ACTUALLY, yes you can /who and see a GM on the list. this happened on my server one time. everything thought he was bot hunting. so dont talk shit if you cant back it up. i typed /who and in the list was a Zarabrough. asked a few other people on the srever to do this.... we all seen him. i dont know about /who zarabrough, but you sure as hell can see them in the list once in a great moon.

Obviously you a know it all. a gm has the OPTION to be seen. they dont even have to be logged in, OR they can log in and be at GM island. why the hell else is it there? for shits and giggles? i love morons who have to ALWAYS be right, when in fact they have no idea what they are talking about. i have about 15 people that did this. i was /w by a guildie going wtf, type /who. i did this, and DID see a gm tag on a guy sitting at GM island. it is up to a GM whether or not they want anyone to know there there. but thanks for your OPINION and smart ass rude comment.
