It is intended and needed to do hard mode on 25 man or your dps will fall short. The downside is that when MC breaks Thorim gets the buff so with 2-3 up your tanks will be always instagibbed.

Though it may help, it is not needed. I just downed hardmode Thorim last night in 25 without any adds being up with Thorim at 13-14 stacks of his self buff.

Working as intended. It's really, REALLY hard to keep 1, let alone 3 of those mobs under control when doing hard mode.

It's not a bug blizzard intended it it's really almost a basic requirement to beat the hardmode, nothing new here.

I don't mean this as a personal attack but it is only a requirement if your guild sucks at killing bosses. I have downed it a few weeks in a row and have never used this buff.

Final verdict: Working as intended; not needed for completion.
