Thorim hardmode easier

did a search for thorim, tho, and hallway and didnt find anything so here it goes

On the Thorim encounter in ulduar, if you use a raidwipe prevention ( di, bres, soulstone) at the first miniboss, you can res right at the mob and he will be inactive. you need to be away from the first two pulls though, be pretty much agains the wall by the first miniboss becuase the acolytes are active and will ruin your day. once everyone is up, the tank can run up on the ninja star looking thing up against the wall and it will pull the next two groups without starting the fight. Once you kill those, the arena group can do the intial pull and as soon as the last mob dies the first boss becomes active, kill him and you can run straight to the second miniboss becuase you just killed the next two trash mobs. once you get to thorim you can either have everyone jump down and help the arena group and wait out the hardmode timer, or do hardmode

so

1. raidwipe hallway group on first miniboss
2. res everyone up
3. pull second group of mobs in hallway
4. start event
5. kill minibosses and go to thorim

Interesting idea. Pics will be nice. Although if this is needed to do Thorim hardmode, maybe it shouldnt be done by that group. Just my $0.02 though.

there are 2 minibosses @ thorim (in the tunnel) - i dont know why u dont understand him? anyway, next time i´ll try it, if it works + rep

If your having trouble with this portion of the hard mode, then you shouldn't be doing it.

just wanted to clarify to people saying nice idea, i thank you but i dont want it to be confused with a theory, this does work.

and you dont have to start hard mode, like i said people can jump down before pulling thorim and wait out the timer

Not worth having everybody taking a durability hit. The point of this is to what? Skip 3 trash pulls? Like CuT said, if you can't do the hallway normally to activate hardmode you won't have the DPS to kill hardmode.

It would been helpful prenerf for the 3 minute countdown to the hardmode. Now, after the nerf, any group who even thinks about Thorim on Hardmode should be able to get up there with absolutely no trouble, as mentioned before. though does anyone have some details about the "safe zones" for phase 2 ... I've heard there should one at the gate and one near the balcony where Thorim stands in p1?
