Hmm very interesting exploit. I'll have to test it out with my lock buddy.

Jebus christ, how can it be working as intended if a player takes damage from a curse that's not meant to deal damage to a player? It's sort of an exploit isnt it?
This forums is almost as addicting as chick's n beer! :beerbang:
no player takes dmg.. only the vehicle..
I think its not working as intended cause a player NEVER takes damage in a vehicle, but why can u cast curse of doom on it before he enters but not when he is in it. NOT WORKING AS INTENDED

This.
It IS (with a capital I) working as intended. The vehicle you curse is NOT a player, but a player gets in the vehicle and the VEHICLE'S HP gets the CoD, not the player inside.
Working as intended.
EDIT: Also @ the OP, you cannot go around 'cursing loads of vehicles' because curse of doom has a 1 minute cooldown, Yes I have my own warlock.

working as intended, works the same with exorcism. You can exorcism vehicles before a player jumps in it
This is working as intended. The vehicle is not controlled by a player, therefore it counts as a mob and abilities that can only be cast on mobs (exorcism, curse of doom) work on that vehicle. If a player hops into the vehicle after you have cast the curse, only the vehicle takes the damage, not the player.
You're an idiot, and a "special kid."
1) Will Blizzard change this when they discover it?
Yes
2) Is it a useful tip for Warlocks (and Pallys) until then?
Yes
3) Does this thread bring value to these forums?
Yes
Nuff' said.

This isnt work as intended...
You cant cast the DoT on the vehical when there is someone in it, but you can before someone enters.
IF IT WAS WORKING AS INTENDED, the DoT will be removed when the player enters.
Cannot be cast on players isnt equal to "Will be removed if the target gets under control of a player", therefore, working as intended. You don't even hit the player, and the tanks dies often before it has taken 1 min, so I wouldn't say it was very useful, but it might be sometimes.
Let me put it this way: Would you be surprised if, in a future patch, Blizzard changed vehicles so they follow the same rules as pets in PvP even when a player isn't in them?
Because that's clearly how they're intended to work.
If this was intentional you would be able to do it while a player is already in the vehicle as well. This is merely a byproduct of game mechanics that dictate whether or not an npc is flagged as a player or mob. So yes, you could say "working as intended," because technically it is. But we know it's not intentional for the reason that you can't apply it while a player is inside, and the fact that CoD is not supposed to be usable in a pvp setting. This is more of an exploit than not, +rep.
