Easy Elite XP 68-74

*UPDATE* Ned has 19k Health and gives 1250 xp NON-RESTED per kill to a level 70. Lunchbox has 9k health and gives 1k xp to a 70. Ned will respawn riding lunchbox 20 seconds after LUNCHBOX dies, not after Ned dies.


As I'm sure everyone knows, the npc Nedar, Lord of Rhinos - NPC - World of Warcraft is a relatively easy mob to kill. He is for the quest Ned, Lord of Rhinos... - Quest - World of Warcraft and can be soloed by all classes. Well as of the latest patch, he is currently on a nearly-instant respawn rate. By the time I killed his mount and had him to about 50%, a second version of him would spawn. I think the reason for this is because the respawn triggers when Lunchbox dies, which is his mount.

Here is a pic with proof and the coords for his spawn point. It's a 20 second timer after Lunchbox dies (Borean Tundra 48, 40):

Seems kind of useless, after you've completed the quest for him, just killing him over and over would be slower than questing/instancing.

Lunchbox also gives as much XP as a 71 mob. And has only 9k health.

Its 2k per mob with rest experience however the instant respawn is useful i guess.

No, read OP. I edited it with health values.

And you don't need the quest for him, it's just a side quest you get from the Cenarion Expedition in Borean. So it's available to both sides. At least it should be.

I don't see why it should be hard at all. I'm a 70 Frost tank specced DK and I kill him fine. As long as your pet gets aggro, I'm guessing he could be healed through the damage.

Just tested... This sucks. 1848 xp rested for killing lunchbox. 2062 xp rested for killing nedar. not worth it.

Why did you even test if you thought 2k xp/kill was sucky ?
