This works great. Just did 2 achievements in Arathi Basin using this trick. I did notice that you have to wait though until the BG has ended before logging back in. By that, I mean, when the scoreboard pops up and says the winner and all the stats and crap, that is not the end of the BG. There is still 2 minutes left. If you log in before that goes away, it will reset the achievement.

I am alliance so I will try to post and update the ones that I know will work since I have tested them myself.

**WORKING**
Arathi Basin: (normally waited til about 1700-1800 resources depending on how many bases are being held)
--Arathi Basin All-Star
--Overly Defensive

Eye of the Storm: (again, waited til one side got to 1600-1800 points before logging depending on how many bases are held)
--Stormtrooper
--Storm Capper

**DOES NOT WORK**
--Wrecking Ball (counter had 10 kills on it, logged back in, still had 10 kills, but once I entered a BG it reset to 0)

I tried Steady Hands achievement in Strands of the Ancients. Disarmed like 2 bombs way before the game ended. logged out and logged back in and the achievement resetted..... ?

You have you to wait for that bg to end while you are logged out then log back in and join a new bg

I have not tried this, eventhough that is kinda what I said. On the next achievement I will see if that works too. Technically, the BG does not end until after the 2 minutes, but I do not think the "bug" will work if you wait for the scoreboard before logging.

Works great, just make sure you don't relog before the bg ends.

What I do is look for someone from my realm in the BG, logoff, then /who the person until I see them out and allow for the two minutes to pass.

Doesn't work at all for me, Tried Stormtrooper and Stormy Assassin in EOTS, Had 4/5 and 5 guys in Mage Tower left, Did the /Exit, didn't work.
TRied alt +f4, didn't work -.-

Edit; Even waited like 10 min overdue of the bg a third time, still nuttin :<

Got it working, you can't Alt + f4, you'll have to camp or /exit and wait the whole 20 sec duration for the exit, don't click "Exit now"

I'm pretty sure I read something similar to this not too long ago where you could take multiple bg entries to complete an achievement. I think the only real difference was that you could have queued up for 2 other bgs and switch to another one that had a queue pop rather than logging your character and it didn't reset the counter either.
