Mechano-hog Achievement without using Mechano-Hog.

I tried searching for this but didnt find something similar. If this is a repost, please delete this post.


Today i gathered the mats for a mechano-hog, and let a friend of mine, who is engineer, craft it. After that i was sending it to an AH-alt for selling, and noticed something i didnt know before, and i'm convinced it isn't intended:

If you loot the Mechano-hog out of a letter, you gain the achievement, without learning the mount. So basicly you can give the achievement to friends, your and their alts, and then sell the Mount or use it for yourself.

quite useless unless you wanna show off with an achievement even tho you don't have the mount. which is fail.

XxNightmarexX, you dont get the achievement when becoming the Mount traded, just by looting it from a mail, so either the thing with the trade is bugged, or it is not working as intended.
