Druid Thorns doing full damage on low-levels.

Today I was questing on a low level Warlock I just started.

A guildie came along to give me something, and did the courtesy Mark of The Wild and Thorns buff.

I was running along questing, and noticed things were attacking me and instantly dieing...
even though the buff description said only "6 Damage" to attackers.

So, I was running around dotting everything up and letting them come and attack me, while still getting full experience.

Little more info:
I was buffed by an 80 Balance druid, not like that would make any difference.

Erm.. a level 80 druid buffed you, so you had the highest rank of the buffs, which thus did more damage, so I am not sure about it.

I'm pretty sure skills are supposed to down-rank depending on level.

As balance you can spec the dmg of thorns by 75% and along with that 73 is only base, so with spec and spellpower it can easily hit 172

The bug itself is that spells usually downranks so it is fitting for the player carrying the buff's level. if this can be replicated and exploited for leveling it would be sweet

Confirmed and working. Just tried on a lvl 7 shammy, mobs die by hitting 2 times , dealing 100dmg~ and my druid isnt specced in improved thorns.
Just remember to deal atleast 1 hitdmg to the target, cause Thorns doesnt Tag a mob. Also, you wont get 100% xp, but more around 70%, but still faster to lvl by that .
