This isn't so much of a bug really. Thorns now scales with the druid's spell power. This did not work like this previous to 3.1 because it was changed to use the caster's spell power as apposed to the spell power of the person it was buffed on.

    Working as intended.

    Working as intended.
I kind of doubt levels 1-20 two-three shotting mobs is "Working as intended".

TIP: Other peoples spells won't show up as floating spell damage on his screen.

Anyway, the initial damage would kill them wouldn't it?

Good job making yourself look like an ass

EDIT: Also, wouldn't the DoT buff be announced as removed when the mob dies? Unless of course Combat Log only shows the groupies (Don't know the combat log)

this also works with having a paladin`s aura, ret aura hits for 112 each time, and dev aura stays at 1205 armor.

3.1 changed the thorns buff to be affected from the casters spellpower, instead of the one casted on. Maybe thats why this works now?

Interesting bug, this could be used for to some interesting effects. AoE grinding with lowbies could lead to some very lucrative experience gains.

    Edit: Tested, it works

Confirmed, it does the highest possible thorns to the player of level, (a la rank 1 till 10, rank 2 11-14, rank 3 15-20)

Thorns benefit from higher spell damage aswell, therefore rank 3 thorns that are supposed to do 9 dmg per attack, do 120~

Dinged my warlock from 10 to 20 roughly about 4-6 mins per ding, on the crabs at westfall shoreline, after one dies, the next one instantly respawns next to it.

    Awesome "working as intended" buff.

Also, adding the 40 crit scope to your hunter's bow on your main and sending it to your level 1 gets you 80 crit rating. gl & hf
