Flame Leviathan Hardmode easier

Ok here is the thing.

If you engage the boss on hardmode while having the whole raid standing outside the big doors you dont have to deal with the extra stuff he does inside the room.(Becouse you wont be there:P)
So:
1. have the raid stand outside the gates.
2. Someone engages the boss and also run out
3. Profit

Can bug sometimes tho=/

MY question is do u actually find Flame Leviathan hard? This is by far one of easiest encounters...Archavon is harder than Flame levia and he is a JOKE!

I can confirm this does work. But its tricky to get to happen.

We were originally trying to reset the fight and for some reason he did not reset, and we were able to down him with 2 towers EZ Mode

If you look at the minimap you'll see I am right next a ramp, which those of you who have done this before know is outside of his normal area.

The ion cannon type beams from hard mode did not come into this area, and you can use the broken pillars to kite him. But the repair spots stopped working when he pulled.

Randomly he stays in combat for a while but this isnt reliable.

However if you want to get the unbroken achievement you can reset the boss and spawn new vehicles which will have full health for the encounter. It doesnt make it suddenly super easy as your raid still needs a clue on how to kill him but its easier than using half damaged vehicles

to summarise

1. Clear gauntlet to flame leviathan and wait outside his encounter zone
2. Get one raid member to aggro flame leviathan using a vehicle
3. Get that raid member to run back to raid reset the encounter.
4. Look at the shiny vehicles that have just spawned and jump into them
5. Kill boss as usual
6. Enjoy your achievement

wouldnt mind trying this for the easy achievement.. would we all have to avoid repairing our original vehicles before we die though?

ronzaa you dont need to die. just do the above and you are still in your old vehicles but new ones also spawn (or did when i was there) you can swap vehicles for fresh, undamaged ones.

forgot to mention, yes you mustnt repair any vehicles at all.

Have you tried hard mode with the ridiculous amounts of adds? My guess by this moronic statement is no. Please actually try the encounter before commenting and saying something ridiculous and stupid. Tried last night.... its NOT working. As soon as he gets to the yellow gates he simply evades because we kept shooting at him and didnt pull him till he got to his initial position
