I don't really know why it's not working for the ones saying it doesn't.
I've just logged and tested it again (EU Servers) did it solo and didn't get saved.

Perhaps you need to be in the EU servers and be alone or something,but it's definitely not fixed,yet.

EDIT: Maybe it wont get you saved because nobody kills any of the real bosses when stealthing to anzu... Just a thought though. Normally if a group does it they fight their way to anzu = get saved.
Maybe ONLY killing Anzu doesnt result in getting saved.

It did save you if you only killed Anzu previously though.

You can easily kill all the trash through the instance if it is really worth it for you.

The first boss, if killed, WILL save you, but due to the level difference, any class is able to sneak by him. Doing it alone, though quite odd, seems to be the trick.
