I haven't found a way to windfury a weapon without actually equipping it. Could someone please elaborate?

You do equip it, it has to be a white non-boe. Used this on lots of white maces, stuck them on my 19 rogue twink. When WF procced my main hand I would hit for 450 to 900 damage . Later I'm going to use it on some daggers and see if ambush/backstab can proc WF.

The WF procs I imagine would be standard melee hits with the windfury AP, and not include damage modifiers from yellow damage attacks.

I am going to try it on my 80 paladin with [Icesmashing Mace] (Highest dps nonbinding weapon thats decently slow) with Windfury and Rune fo the Fallen Crusader, but I'm trying to build up a stockpile so when one runs out, I can just run to a portable mailbox and get another windfury charged weapon.
