Yes, this works. I know a bunch of people who has did it and I helped them out a bit.

EDIT: Proof: you have even commented to the twinkinfo thread with the name "Thirk", that is shown in the screenshot of your signature.

Obviously not a "copy-paste", but that is where I discovered a detailed version of the method (I reworded the OP, as well as, I knew about it before it was posted on TwinkInfo.) And I'll be providing a video later today.

If you're* going to post as if you know what you're* talking about, try actually knowing..
It currently does not scale, and you get the full effects of the buff.
On the 3.1 PTR, it still does not scale, and you receive no effect from the buff until you reach the appropriate level.

If it uses NetLimiter its not really an exploit and should probably be in the Guides section.

It's an exploit because it circumvents the XP that you are supposed to recieve, and allows you to gain access to a title at level 1, which cannot be reached until at least level 17.

It is not an exploit because you need a third party app to get it; like a hack. exploits use strictly game mechanics and game mechanics only. (see: google define: exploit)

A hack relies on a program to get the job done. This is a hack. Don't bother saying "but netlimiter didn't intend it, and netlimiter is not a hack!!" yes it is. It would be no different if you wrote a simillar program and named it Super-XP-Be-Gone and threw it in te hacks section.

There is really no point because everyone knows there is no way to get the title at level one so it would be obvious you are hacking the game.

Wrong. Using Dark Rune and "lag" you can do it without NetLimiter at level 1, which is the same as using Mobs and NetLimiter. It belongs here because it's not modifying any part of the game itself, only the network. With your logic anyone with a bad internet connection is hacking.

Yeah, you dont need the program, i've always use a simular experience just pulling out the ethernet cable for about 10+ seconds.

I've lived that situation myself before... If you level due to exploration, you can always PM a GM and explain the situation. If you are lucky they'll get your level down for you.

There has been no recorded situation of a GM downlvling a twink. ss or it didnt happen.
