maybe to you its a waste of time, but for people who farm old instances will find a use for it

Pestilience does about 800 dmg normally, for me, but if you pull many mobs and use this trick, pestilience does about 5000 for each mob... even more depending on how many mobs you pull

E.g you could pull whole Stratholme instance and 1 shot it, youd probably need a healer for that though but doable.

I think that what happens is that the dancing rune weapons' pestilence does damage equal to the TOTAL damage to all the mobs, instead of normal damage

Not saying I've tested it, or if it's confirmed, or anything, but I think that would be the origin of the bug.

Being that two people confirmed this, and one of them has over 35 rep, I'm going to probably believe that it works, FOR NOW.

Use it while you can >.<

    In the meantime, +Rep

WHY YOU NEED PICS?! 2 people just confirmed it. And i pulled 1 minute before this post about 30 Mobs at once(i am 79 dk) just activated DRW and used 2 times the pestilence(mobs @78-80) -> THEY WERE NEARLY ALL DEAD! I

    did only dmg with pestilence....

It takes 5 minutes to test it yourself....(got spots for testing at mass mobs are in ice crown)

    Ah and a small calc::::::
Ok lets say you find a place with about 50 Mobs -every mob is about 78-80-
Every of this 50 Mobs gives 2000 xp(rested) = its 100k XP in total.

Your dancing rune weapon is ready every 3 minutes, so then we mobs respawn in 3 minutes you could do every 3 minutes 100k XP

    Thats freakin 3 million xp/h .

It is do able, the only difficult part in this is to find a place with enough mobs - more mobs=more xp every 3min=more dmg

    +Rep

edit: IF someone know a good place, pls PN me i when can make a guide or somethin with vid.

    4) Pop DRW and spam Pestilence (nothing else, just pestilience).

    5) the dancing rune weapon will copy it, but it does massive damage! (it does more damage depending on how many mobs you pull, so if you pull 50 mobs it will do insane damage)

    ^_^

Found on the eu wow forums earlier

Enjoy it while it lasts, in 3.1 Pestilence does no damage.

I did not do 246,355 damage, I only did 57k of it at most, 32k being my pestilience.

Damn, i was gonna post this . In 3.1.0 Prestilence will be nerfed.
Pestilence does no damage and has only 1 rank.
Quote from Here (PTR Patch notes.)

EDIT: Someone posted this above ^.^
