[Twink] +12 dodge rating cloak enchant

Since the release of patch 3.0 the Enchant Cloak - Dodge tooltip was changed to state "Requires a level 35 or higher item." However, what most people don't know is that only the tooltip was updated, and the enchant itself can still be applied to low-level items such as Sentry Cloak or Tigerstrike Mantle, or even the lowest level Armor Vellum. Most twinks assumed those who had the enchant prior to 3.0 had it grandfathered in, and that it was no longer obtainable. It is likely that Blizzard will change the restriction on this enchant to match the tooltip, so now is your chance to get a grandfathered enchant on your twink.

Just some words of advice, 12 dodge rating might not be the best possible cloak enchant for your twink. It will only add 2% dodge at level 19 or 29, since dodge rating is calculated as though you are level 34+. This is an obvious choice at 29, and at 19 there may be better alternative depending on your class/spec. Also, in case the enchant is changed it might be a smart idea to enchant some unbound cloaks with this now while it is still available. If it is indeed grandfathered, these unbound enchanted cloaks will be worth a great deal of gold.

It has always ben like that. Since AQ patch came out you could apply that enchant to any cape in game, the only difference is they putted in other mats to make it easier obtaining them. If i understood this post right

No, you fail at reading. The post is about how the tooltip on the enchant changed in the 3.0 patch, but that it can still be applied to low-level cloaks.

you guys are awesome... more etherea for posting it ... you have no clue how long i've been looking for this answer ... whoever said its on any twink guide is wrong i've searched (maybe in the wrong places) whatever.... i will try it just as soon as i find an enchanter who can do it
since thiss post is a day old makes this all the more beautiful! ....... btw boooo for taking away the ability to reach 450 on gather proffessions... so hated that

confirmed on feb/18/2009 blizzard only changed the tooltip... the enchant says its for a 35+ cloak but it works for cloaks of lower levels i just enchanted sporid cape from wailing caverns ... good one!

12 dodge rating doesnt = 2% dodge anymore at 19 and 29 as far as i know
