Guaranteed Achievement on Sartharion 10

Defeat Sartharion the Onyx Guardian on Normal Difficulty without getting hit by Lava Strike.



I was running OS10 today and we were about to pull Sartharion (no drakes up.) I had my computer crash and got back online ASAP, to find that I was dead, and the boss at 20%. He was shown as being tagged to me and not gray, and the group downed him. I was the only person in the raid to receive the achievement because I was dead the entire time. I don't have screenshots but I GUARANTEE this works as of now.

That's good. So what you can do is pull aggro at the very beginning really fast. And die. You won't be hit by Lava Strike cuz you are dead. I don't think that's intended so yeah +Rep.

I don't see where the exploit is? It was tagged to your group, not just you. You died before the Lava blast could hit you so you were credited with the achievement. I could just stand inside OUT of battle and let my gorup 9-man it and I'd get the same achievement for just being there.

Ok first of all we basicly would need SS for this..
Second It cant really be guranteed as you need to die in a way that doesent include getting hit by lava strike
and 3 again it cant be guranteed as your not 100% sure you will tagg the mob

Well, dying sure increases the chance of you not getting hit

You can also run into the lava and die - same effect, only easier and more secure. (At least when not 10 people try to do this^^)

had a raid member crash after killing the 3ed drake , he ended up gaining the achevement just like you said .

I can confirm, had someone die from pulling aggro, then when we killed him he got the achievement.

i cant believe you guys honestly have to die b4 actually fighting the boss to get this achievement. this is in no way hard to do. if you get hit by the lava walls you should give up raiding because you obviously dont know how to listen. lol

The lava strike is the falling rocks from the sky.

This is extremely hard to avoid, therefore it is an achievement.

Wtf falling rocks? There are no falling rocks, lava walls spawn from both sides of the walls surrounding Sartharion, which they have a gap you have to stand in, please do the raid before trying to relate

Pay attention before you flame others, there are flaming rocks that drop. Their frequency skyrockets when you get close to killing him as what is supposed to be an "enrage"

Can anyone find the EXPLOIT in this?
Cause i sure dont see an EXPLOIT.
