[Hotfixed][Hunters] Tame a Quest Giver

This is actually quite easy. You can tame a quest giver from Dun Nefflelem (more specificly - Sons of Hodir). There you will find the NPC named Frostworg Denmother (s/hes Wolf)
What you need to do is if you're already friendly with them, open your Reputation tab (deffault "U" key), select Sons Of Hodir and tick the box where it says "At war". After that as a hunter you should know how to tame the wolf. Place a frost trap and tame him like normal.

With this npc as your pet you and other players can get the daily quest that it gives: Spy Hunter and also return it. The fun thing is that everyone will see the blue questionmark above his head, whenever you go. For like 10 minutes i got around 20 whispers "omg wtf" etc.... So this is a good way to get into the center of attention. Have fun taming the wolf =)

Thanks for wasting my time, bizkit.

Just tested it. Tame Beast spell was cast, but did not channel. No messages in combat log or other error messages.

it worked 2 days ago when a friend of mine did it in front of me.... It was hotfixed today or yesterday ? Can someone else confirm ?

It seems Blizzard hotfixed the taming of the Denmother. As of now, she says to me when I try to tame her "Creature not tameable," despite the fact that her Bestial Lore still says "Tameable." It seems Blizzard caught onto the fact that while tamed she offered quests out of zone, and there was even talk that killing the Denmother as a Hunter's pet caused you to lose 1000 Son's of Hodir rep!
