[Exploit] Scholazar Quest -> Easy Money / Pots

The daily quest Power of the Great Ones - Quest - World of Warcraft in Scholazar Basin grants you the item Energized Polished Crystal - Item - World of Warcraft .

This helps you complete the required 30 mobs to finish the quest. However, if you take it to (22,80) in Scholazar, you can use the item as long as you want before you turn in the quest.

Why is this important? Because at (22,80) there is a huge pile of rapidly respawning mobs that drop 5-15 silver each. As a ret paladin I was barely able to loot fast enough to keep up. In < 30 minutes I wound up with quite a few pots and a good chunk of change.

For those who aren't informed, the item makes you heal for ~1300 or so on most attacks, as well as doing an extra ~1300 damage to your target, rendering you the perfect aoe farming machine. IF SOMEONE CAN CONFIRM THESE MOBS GIVE XP LET ME KNOW

I was wondering about this but as I am 80 I can't confirm. If they do offer xp it's the biggest leveling exploit to date hahaha.

From Wowhead.com: "While on this quest, killing the frenzyheart yield no exp. However, you can loot still.

Also, the 10 minute attack/heal buff you get from using the Crystal only works when you kill frenzyhearts and is non-effective against other creatures in the basin.

Turn-in for this quest is at 33,74, not the location of the quest giver. Save yourself some time and turn in after you are done and dont go all the way back to where you picked up the quest."

So no xp But still nice find for cash, have 2 rep.

I'd mask out my name on that screenshot, this is still a hacker/exploiter community... And even if getting someone's nick isn't that hard, you'd be amazed what can be done just knowing that public info.

Also, since I know you use this exploit I could save myself some time and just 'nick your money.

Confirmed, so much so that I was about to make a post on this. Upon searching I saw that there is already a thread. no need to repost, a simple bump is ok
Make good money, decent pot drop rate, fast spawns, heal yourself even if you dont have a heal button, extra dmg if your gear is shitty, mobs have ~6k hp.

prot warriors will love this one, 2 thunderclaps or a thunderclap and a shockwave will kill a pack of as many as you can get, and since you take less dmg with the buff.... feel free to grab as many as you can!

Does this daily show up every day or just sometimes?

Edit: Just sometimes. Very easy to do without the daily, even, as a geared feral druid (31 k hp self-buffed). Just demo roar and swipe spam.
