Sin'dorei Recurve Bow - 2 weapon skills?

hey guys 1st post here so be gentle


I went and bought the Sin'dorei Recurve Bow from the warsong offensive quartermaster in warsong hold a couple of days ago.


i tried using it in an instance and when i did it wouldnt let me fire it...

Now i tried putting some bullets in it and sure enough it fires...

Unfortunatley i cant test this atm since all my skills are at 400 for bows and guns but with it doing that i was thinking maybe it could be a fast way for rogues , warriors + hunters etc to level maybe both skills at the same time?

also the weapon has no min or max damage only 297 damage on it

like i mentioned i cant really test it too much but figured id offer what i found since im trying to contribute

i searched for Sin'dorei Recurve Bow and bow bullets and nothing came up so sorry if it has been posted

Hmm, maybe Or only guns sounds more like it.

No, my friend got that bow also, talked to a gm because it would not fire arrows and only bullets.

The gm to him to buy a ammo pouch.
