Shadow trance without the talent

Erm, okay... I recently was specced affliction on my lock, and then I had the "Nightfall" talent, wich gives you a 4% on corruption to proc... Then I respecced destruction, and I do not have the telant, weird thing is that it still procs... I guess this works for all locks?

I'm leveling a warlock and I'm specing affli. I was lvl 27 and lvling. Shadow Trance proced w/o me even specing on it. But I was speced affli.

If this works after zoning, it would be nice to spec for it before a raid, then do a respec without it. Then you can benefit from it and use the tallents elsewhere.
