What is this GM island? ive played for about a year and a half, and ive never heard of it until i found this site.

GM island is an island GMs can teleport to in a server that is filled with many mining, herb, etc. nodes to test latency of server and possible bugs. Also, GMs are often not even playing WoW they are using a propietary program and filling tickets without even logging in. The only time a GM will login to WoW is to view something in-game (such as a bugged raid boss).

Some are getting blizzard servers mixed up with private servers

some just plain old fashioned aint thinking.

GMs are not allowed to leave gm island cept for solving problems, and special events.

GM's do however have seperate non gm accounts.(Think about this carefully before saying "how do you know?". how can someone gm a game and not have played.)

The only way for this to work(I dont think it would due to the way wow works) would be if the gm in question was using his alt, on his non gm account, from a work computer, in which case hes bein naughty. lol

GMs. is not always on GMs, and yes they a using other programs that will allow them the see the tricket without have Wow running. but this is a new rule that GM have to be on GM island in the start of the game they could go were ever they wanted to go. well if they wans't on the island, they might be looking for bugs cuz the game was new and it had a long waiting time, so they didn't had time for looking on respawn npc place(that much), so some GM(probley a gamemaker, not on of those who a saying thinks to ppl about bugs, thats was also why they was allow to paly with people) so if you say that GM is invinsble you a right but they can turn it visible for ppl if they need too.

well this thread was based on a program that would let you see the ip of a GM. well it ani't a GM. its some of the gateway blizzard useing to let us see the servers. and some of them is the modtordrs down in french. cant realy tell you this in to detail cuz my english is not 100% on the IT-words.

this is info from a friend that have been testing games. he was on a closed opeing of world of warcraft befor the Beta. ill just call it a closede beta. only few people was lucky to get in this.

Martins Mace, were u on laughing skull lol? because i remember when everyone linked it! it was a 1 handed white mace with like 100 DPS and it was only a .05 sec speed and it had a proc to kill all enemies and it said "cheater" at the end... lol

dude gm's do exist and no they dont have to stay on gm u ****ing newbs, in my brothers guild, they have a gm that records there raids cuz there usually the first ones to do it, like they were the first ones to kill oynxia and all the gms from every server were watching them. no joke, this was announced on WoW.com and also what they wear is pretty cool lol

GMs also say reinstalling WoW and deleting the WTF folder fix your problems. Do they? No.
