Every account gets 3 free days. If you have a longer payment history, you actually get 1 free day every 6 months.

it happened to me too
i put in a gamecard but it said it was alrdy used then my account worked. i thought it was the gamecard but rly it was this. when i went to the billing section it said that it was just a 3 day thing. i guess i went through the same thing as u did

its not real we all got 3 free days as the servers were extremely buggy with crashes bugs and lag for around 3 days so evrybody who had an account active during that time got 3 days refunded

I saw Blizzard saying that because of all the server problems with the release of 3.0.2 everyone got 3 free days of gametime, so not an exploit really.

As said above this isn't an exploit, it was just Blizzard giving three days compensation for all the lag and downtime everyone had been experiencing, and some still are I might add. Here's your proof
