Dismount flying players with your Shaman!

So, A buddy and I were bored on a PvP server and were flying around ganking people, when a druid (non-epic flight form) flies by us. My friend (being an elemental shaman) decides it would be funny to use his thunderstorm on the druid.

He catches the druid (both are still in flight). My friend dismounts in mid air and thunderstorms. The druid is knocked back and his flying form changed into his Night Elf form. He falls to his death.

We have tried this on other chars, Apparently:

When you use thunderstorm on people who are flying around they are dismounted and will fall to their deaths!

This makes for so much PvP fun causing them durability damage!

As far as I know this is working as intended. Knockback effects knock people off their mounts and shift druids out of flight form. The cannons in the blades edge bombing quests do the same thing to people who are hit by them since the blast is a knockback effect.

This would be considered an exploit if it works (I have not tested yet) seeing as they took out the mage pom exploit.

Sorry, just figured this would be useful to those who didnt realize it. Besides I didn't see any other posts on it, figured it was worth a shot at contributing.

As far as I know Blizzard actually considers this a Reportable offense and I assume they will patch it, as when you are FLYING you are unable to be sheeped and whatnot to avoid this situation of falling to your death and losing durability. Dismounting someone while they are high up is funny, nuff said.

BTW Im a paladin so I just dismount and cast Hand of Protection on him and bubble as we fall =)

There are alot of things that don't work on flying mounts... Blind and Goblin Rocket Launcher come to mind.
