Ok me and my friend's were RPing and we began it as we were fighting ghouls [The world event] and after that part I still had the disease and we got bored waiting so my friend requested a duel. (We were in Lakeshire) and she killed me this ISNTANTLY turned me into a ghoul and then all you have to do is click the "Corpse Explosion" spell and you got it off. (they must get your HP down fully for you to turn into ghoul.)

Also if you don't like where I put this thread I'll gladly move it .

well i think i got the real answer to this question, at least if you're lvl68+ mage. I turned on invisibility when the timer was close to expiring so that the timer expired while i was in invisibility and i did not turn into zombie. Could be useful if there is no healer nearby and you have no time for being zombie couse people are waiting for you or something
