[TIP] Get the most out of your Fingers of Frost

When you gain the fingers of frost buff, you can cast 1 spell to consume a charge and then for your second spell spam a a regular cast + an instant and have them both count as if the target was frozen to get 3 casts out of your fingers of frost instead of just 2. Most people have probably figured this out but if u haven't enjoy!

When you get fingers of frost, cast your spells as normal. When you get to the second spell, cast an instant directly after it and the instant should also be counted for Fingers of Frost! Thus, 3 spells obtaining the effect.

It also works on combustion and shatter spells. This is a commonly known game mechanic imo, and just about everyone who plays a mage knows this.

shatter combo = while target is frozen cast frostbolt and directly after that spam ice lance than both will crit zo you get like 2-3K frostbolt and 2K ice lance

No it's not, it's completely understandable and I had no trouble what-so-ever while reading it.

It's basically this:

Gain Fingers of Frost (2 charges remaining)
Cast a normal Frostbolt that will be treated as on a frozen target (no trick here, 1 charge left)
Start casting another frostbolt and spam another instant cast while casting it, after you've casted frostbolt, both the instant cast (read: ice lance) and frostbolt will be treated as if the target was frozen even though there was only 1 charge left.

This might be common sense, but no, it's not hard to understand from the OP's post
