So you're saying you've tested it and it doesn't work? I took some time off botting when I hit 50 and my friend hasn't been online, so haven't gotten a chance to sure-fire check it. If you have proof it doesn't work then maybe a mod can label this fixed.

b7huff...dont be such a....nvm.... if you came upo with ides, somehow amazingly 2 days before someone else posted this idea, then why didnt you post it? you could of just said "idea to D/C gliders in area" if you didnt get it to work or something, but dont go on someone elses post and start saying "Dont rep! i got this idea first and it didnt work for me!"

when someone trys thiss all you really have to do i gues would be:

to theirname: are you there (alotofspaceshere)

and you probly wont get in trouble because to a human eye it doesnt look like you were impersonating a GM, but if the glider program sees "" it might think that this is a MG chatting and their is really no use puting a name anyway, unless it knows all GM names and releizes someone made it up but i doubt that..... Anyway.... Someone please confirm or tell us it doesnt work. i dont really have a problem with people botting on my server at all so.... if ever see anyone looking suspisios i will try this, but not likely.. Just dont say you came up with the idea first

Meh, I figure let people show their true side, no need worrying about it. If he thought it up first good for him, but he didn't post it. Anyways, I don't think it works, I called my friend personally just to check this, it didn't DC him. Now...if we could find out what IN glider makes it DC the user at a whisper, then we might have a new idea.

This does not work, all glider does when it gets a GM message is make a very loud, annoying sound to alert the user. It doesnt DC

Proper format is [(Namehere)] whispers: (What you wanna tell them. Perferrable something that contradicts that last sentence, like "i wonder if this works anymore")

There is actually a setting where you log out when whispered by a GM. Sadly, I think it recognizes something else out of the whisper to distinguish the difference.

No offence, but anyone who does this is a complete a**hole. If they want to glide, let them, they risk being caught and banned but its their choice. You don't have to mess things up for them just because you're feeling mean.

    GLIDER FTW!

    Nice

It's a good idea I'll test it out. IT's also fun to do i do it in raids and guild chat alot. It's like making ppl say things very fun. I had this used on me by a friend in party i looked in chat and i was sayin things i didnt type till i finally figured it out it can be realy funny.
