Doing Chess Event in Fresh Instance

My guild did chess event last night, no problems. Not sure when and how the pieces spawned though.

If its still unclear, after talkign to a senior gm it only spawns after the opera event. the reason why? you cant get there without completing the opera event so if you try and complain its not there without clearing opera foolish you. after the opera event if your guild cant down curator like mine cant go ahead and finish it with permission of your raid leader and take who ever wants to stealth there as well.

it's really strange tbh, i soloed the event just after this weeks (eu) reset. but yesterday when my friend was trying, the chess pieces weren't there.. so did they hotfix it sometime during the week, or what really happened?

seems it was changed last wednesday or tuesday night. I did it right after last weeks maintenance, may 8th. Seems everyone started reporting the peices not showing up may 9th. Checked in again today, no peices there.

Hi, i did this once, and waited around a week.. wasnt saved or anything.. but the chess pieces wasnt there, remember, wasnt saved..
But i did group up with an lower level.. does the other partymember need to be attuned or ? tried to go in 3x times now with different party members and still no chess.

You don't open it...you glutch through it by using the "auto-unstuck function" or if you're a rogue Shadowstep, mage Blink, warrior Charge....if you read this thread you would of known!!!!

So, if you do down the Opera event (which my guild does easily), what happens if you go and do the chess event and get saved if you don't log out in time? Will the entire raid get saved or just you?? And if you do logout and do everything right, will this exploit still work?

Then u AND the raid will be saved, even if they arnt with you atm u do chest event. Got kicked out of the guild becouse i didnt knew this rofl

Anyone found a way to do it w/o clearing opera?

Might be a strange idea but... as an rogue my guild always let me stealth to the opera event to see what event it is. I stealth there, talk to the guy, start the event and then either let myself die, use the balcony glitch, or whatever.

Havent tried this, but what if you dont realy need to FINNISH it but just have to activate it?!?!?! aka talk to the guy, let it start etc. i have no time to check this, but it might be worth a shot
