Erm, why did you ask the GM if you would lose your 10 AGI gem, when the head was socketed with a 3 crit 4 stamina gem? (Thats what it looks like, cant see the crit rating number because of the red text infront of it)..

I actually DID get the wrong item the other day and when i asked the GM to refund my points he was more than happy to. the item was INSTANTLY deleted and the points were refunded to me after the zoning/logout

Do you realy need to wait 15 min? Cant you just shocket the item, put it into bank and then relogg to get the points and hope you got both

This dosent work I tried it on 2 account and 4 diffrent chars, and it didnt work one single time, and I did everything you said.

I just tried it.

When alt+f4, i logged back, item was still in the bank. did it again, still in the bank...
I waited doin sth. when i logged off after a while, item was gone. points restored.

so.. its NOT working.

I did this the other day. Although im not quite sure how i did it. The item got was in my bank for 4 days and it magically dissappeared.. It came up as ME deleting it to the GM.. i told him to give it back and he did.

Here's why:

What you are proposing isn't an exploit, it's just telling lies. There's a very fine line in my mind between making the most of what's programed in the game even if unintended by the programers (exploits), and being dishonest with other people. I prefer to think of myself as an honost person, so all in all I have to say this is a pretty shitty (not to mention risky) thing to do.

The only reason I give thanks is because you've demonstrated that a GM CAN get your currency/items back if if accidently made a bad purchase. I had a brain fart at like 2AM and purchased the slow fist weapon with badge gear when I should have bought the fast one, and your post demonstrates that it should in fact be possible to get a GM to make it so I can have the fast one without running however many raids and heroics for the badges.
