Could I do this with a 70 shaman? My shaman has about 12% block and a few blue tanking items(only rings, back, trinkets). Around 9k armor and with tanking gear 10k health. If I use thorns, retribution aura and fire shield you think it could work .

no, first you only need one of the buffs you stated, because all you need to do is tap them, they die soon after.

2nd - you need a ton more block, dodge, parry, and such

my full epic'd warrior with 30% block 25% parry 20% dodge or near those stats...
still couldn't survive too well, he could go through maybe 6 shields before death

If you up your block/parry etc and you get earth shield, i could maybe see it happening

Ok thanx for the advice. Didn't relize how tough it would be . I'm at 12% block 17% dodge and 6.5% parry atm. Might be a bit tough for me to do as a shaman I guess. I'm just worried my mana wouldn't last even with mana spring and water shield. If I'm able to do it I'll be sure to post it =).

I tried this 3 days ago with a friend they no longer die in 1 tick of rank 1 consecration and they do give 1exp idk why this is working for you or why it did not work for me, but I did do it with my friend's and it did NOT work.

tried on EU just now (14th Aug) and the mobs don't show up as dead on combat log, i.e Atal'ai Skeleton dies. Therefore they give no xp, not 1 or 2 xp as some peoples posts suggest. I did try this about 6 hours ago and it worked fine. The realm hasn't (to my knowledge) been restarted since. So i'm guessing there is a chance i might have tits'd something up but i tried to sort it out but still doesn't work. :s
