RAF Compilation To End All RAF threads

A group of 2 halves the XP earned from kills. RAF triples the XP.

Example:
2 lvl 1 Nelfs kill a lvl 1 mob.
Normally this would be 50 XP solo.
Grouped per 2 this is reduced to 25 XP.
Then RAF kicks in and you get 75 XP.

So in fact you are getting triple XP for kills.

When can you grant the levels?
Does it have to be a Payed for Account to grant levels?
Can you save up from 1-70 and use all 35 level ups?

To answer all your questions Hammil.

You can grant one (1) level to your referrer every two (2) of your level ups. You can only do this to the referrer for the time being.
No it does not have to be a paid account to grant levels.
You can grant levels up to 60, I believe. But yes, you can save all 35 level ups and grant on a level 1.

But I've had a RaF account for 3 days, and my brother and I are level 14 on our
shammies now. But we cant grant level ups. Why is that?

You can only grant levels to someone who's lower level than you, and only the referred account can grant levels to the referrer.

Btw, just to add a few things. Great places to use this would be STV, Hinterlands, and Ungoro Crater, where all of the quests can be done at once, then port your "friend" there and collect the triple experience. I went from 3/4 way thru 48 to 51 tonight just by doing turn ins in Hinterlands.

I got one question about granting lvls..
Is this only doable by the one who got recruited or also the veteran member..

Cause my alt is higher then the recruited one and i couldnt grant it a level

Only the recruited account may grant levels. They may only grant levels to the Veteran account, and only up to the RAF account player's level.

Ok so say I recruit a friend from my main account. And say I want to start a new character and lvl with my friend...I get 3x xp as well on my main account for killing and quests? Another question...does the RAF account get 3x xp if he quests alone. Thanks

I have a lvl 53 hunter, from that account i did RAF, i logged on my 53 and a lvl 1. I went and did a few quests lvl 51, 50 and 50 on my hunter in Tanaris... i then ported my lvl 1 to tanaris and handed in all the quests... i didnt get any tripple xp i even accepted a follow on quest, did that while the lvl 1 followed me and still didnt get tripple. Odd !

I created another lvl 1 on the same account as the 53 hunter, summoned the lvl 1 on the RAF account back to noob zone and they did get tripple xp together. So it would seem they fixed that particular exploit.

Let me know if i have done something wrong but it would not seem so. I would love to hear of someone else doing this and it working !

The level 1 char/ghost exploit has been nerfed a while ago. A 4-levels gap has been enforced for both mob & quest exp to be granted the bonus.
