[Theory] --> [Raid]: 25 Soulstones on 25 peoples, one warlock

"Don't you just want that phat bitch Brutallus down but ppl just don't stop dying?"

    [The Short and Irritating Introduction]

I just made myself a warlock some day ago.
Today I got a new spell called [Create Soulstone], and as we all know this can be used to create, at my level - [Minor Soulstone].
And that was the start of the following little theory of mine..

    [The Skippable and Useless Stuff]

    - Create Soulstone require exclusive mana cost an Soul Shard.
    - I can use the Soulstone at myself, and If I want, I can put the Soulstone on any friendly player.
    - When Soulstone is used, the target gains the buff "Soulstone Resurrect" for 30 mins.
    - If I die with my soul stored, the Soulstone makes me able to resurrect with 400 hp and 700 mana. (2900 health and 3300 mana @ 70)
    - The Soulstone is soulbound to me cannot be traded.
    - The Soulstone is unique and an conjured item.
    - It takes 3 seconds to create a Soulstone and 3 seconds to "store" a soul.
    - Once I have stored my soul or anyones else, consider that I made the soulstone 3 seconds before that, I can make a new Soulstone.
    - The new soulstone tho comes with a cooldown of 30 mins.
    <--- HARRHARR

Say that you queue for Deadmines, Hc Slavepens, the weekly PuG farming Karazhan for BoJ or maybe raiding Gruul with your slowprogressing guild..
    - Imagine there is a warlock in the party/raid.
If the warlock is not a very selfish and ewul warlock he will probably store some healers soul, or something.
    Seen this happend before?
    Cheers.
But don't you think it would be much more fun if everyone in the party/raid EACH had their very own Soulstone?
    - Well..

    [The Common Sense]

    - ..it's possible!
(still a theory since I have not confirmed seeing 25 peoples with 25 soulstones with my own eyes, yet.)

You just need one warlock. 6):

    - If you have gotten yourself your soul stored before you know that this is works as any normal buff - if you loggout for any given timelimit, when you log back the Soulstone Resurrect -buff will still be on the same exact duration as it were the last second you logged out.
    - This means, if you are the warlock and loggout the very same second you apply the Soustone on yourself and then loggin after 30 min - You can make another Soulstone for your friend.
    - This results that you and your friend BOTH can run around with a "second life" for the next 30 mins. (you will have some seconds shorter second life tho :3)

Here, a fast macro if you and your friend wanna test this and don't miss any possible second. Bind it to a key and spam it when you relogg after 30+ mins. Your friend must be in range.

    Code:
    /cast Create Soulstone
    /stopcasting
    /target
    /use Soulstone
    (macro not tested lol)

    [The Theory]

    --> 25 Soulstones, 25 peoples, one warlock

{Requirements:Preparation} > (Sorry, allways some bad parts when a thing that sounds to good to be true.)

Your guild is raiding any 25 man raid instance and having problems/issues at a boss.
You have access to one(or more) warlocks able to make Soulstones. (the spell itself and atleast 25 Soul Shards.)
To not make your fellow raidfriends go riot, the must have an TV and/or an alt.
If you only use one warlock, this will take: 30 min * 25 = 750 min (heeeeeheheeheh :3) (NOTE: Your preparation time will be reduced by 50% in addition for every bonus warlock you have access too.)

    How to do it:

Assuming you are the one and only warlock that shall do all the shitwork and also are the RL (the easiest explanation), it's very simple.

    1. Look in the signup for the daily raid. (13 hours BEFORE the raid.)
    2. Then randomly pick a player in the list, who is online and search him up.
    3. Tell him that you are going to give him/her a Soulstone, and he/she better loggout the SECOND after or else!
(OR ELSE = "I will **** you up" /slash/ gquit threat + tell him/her to stop whine and "loggin to your alt goddammit and DON'T YOU EVER DARE LOGGIN ON YOUR MAIN UNTILL 18:50")
    4. Repeat step 2-3 every half hour (..for like 12,5 hours?) untill all 25 raidmembers have a soulstone(outlogged) and don't forget yourself.
    5. (example): 18:50 it's time, loggin, invite all who should be in the raid, buffup to maximum and enjoy one hell of a wicked bossfight that might lead you to progressing with your guild
with the immense number of 25 stored souls! (A whole raid soulstoned, omg insane!) Everyone's pumped at 110% with this extreme advantage - you just simple can't fail this fight - not this time!

This works best if you have failed at bosses @ 1-30% I would think, so don't do it as a starter, keke.
    Gogo, top guild!

    ---

Is this possible? It is. (?)
Is it worth it? Well, you tell me.

    Flame on, leechers!
    {not THAT very serious thread, but hey. It is to open some of your eyes. }

Erm ... I'm not sure if this would work. But you are not supposed to post theories or untested exploits.

Yeh it works, but kinda not worth the time spent, but hey can be useful on certain bosses like Vashj, Illidan and Archimonde where you can clear all the way up to them one day and jump straight to them the next without the trash.

This will be pretty much useless for bosses with trash because I mean, hey trash can take up to 30 mintues and also if you need soulstones for your entire raid for a boss the fight would probably last 10 + mins.

    Nice theory though buddy

How stupid is your guild if you're going to need 25 soul stones?

WTH did you do, just kill Curator and now you feel like you're tough so you're preparing for BT?

Where did he say that _he_ needed it? You get angry quite fast.

Lol, was that directed too me? In case - L2Read
My own guild is atm stuck on Brutallus, but it's not the time to use this "thing", yet I think.

Well, I see it like this. All PvE guilds are allways stuck somewhere.
It's like that fast progressing backfires.. I feel like this post is dedicated to guilds that have had problems for weeks with people dying and dying over and over again.
This is a tip to enlarge and widen what you can do as preparation.

25 soulstones is surly an overkill but what about 6-10 on the jerks that is constant dying/overaggroing/or having just a major misfortune?

Anyways it's allways fun to have some aces in your deck, hah?

    -----

Thanks to all comments, my thread was not WORTHLESS after all.

The thing that lowers this theory to useless is mostly - the trashmobs.
Raid must have a cleared way to boss with no respawnmobs/or clear trashmobs in less than 20~ mins MAXIMUM.
Kinda rare but if you find a way to do it on the boss that is ***ing with your guild, go for it.

    edet123: awesome, didnt know that.
eids: thx and thx again <3

    I kinda thought about that.
Keeping buffs after logging out is not an explorit, yeah.

I don't know about you but, I'm pretty sure the first person you stick that SS to is not gonna wait 12.5 hours till he can log on. They're gonna want to do other things to prepare for raids. This isn't even worth it, plus you have to have a lot of soul shards, 25 for all the SS's then probably 10-15 for soulwells, and then probably another 10 or so for soulshatter for threat management because us warlocks are awesome.
