Ummm, thats not true. I handed in 4 quest within 30 seconds of each other and got 3x the exp.

Worked like a charm, get like half a level for a dungeon quest at lvl 20

you do get xp if a quest is grey btw, just not very much. you're thinking of mobs

I just tried it and it works fine. I think the reason it didn't work for the caverns of time quest, it says it doesn't work for characters over 60. I haven't read the entire thread, so I might be wrong.

yep, thats what was going on. even though I found a way for it to be in range of a BC quest it was no dice.

OK I understand how this works for characters below 60 and in azeroth. But I'm unclear about characters level 60+ in outlands...

Does it work for characters level 60+ in outlands?

If so, does it only work if the trial account is "upgraded" to a BC account? Does upgrading to a BC account entail buying retail wow/bc?
