I had it working earlier with a brand new fresh off the line undead warrior, just put the trial on /follow got to level 5 in no time, do not know when the x3 stops though.

This in fact does still work. I leveled a ud priest to lvl 9 and she stopped getting 3x exp from mobs kills (recruit a friend was on follow) so i lvled a paladin to 9 to catch the recruit a friend up in lvls and kept switching back and forth when i would stop getting3x mobs exp. I granted my mage levels from the recruit a friend. When my pavadin was23 or 24 (trial accounts have a max level or 20) i stopped getting regular 3x mob exp but now im 27 and i STILL get 3x quest exp.

This is also great if you can get a frined to run your thru and instance, you level SUPER fast that way and both you and your friend get 3x exp. I bet you could get 20 in like 2-3 hrs this way max.

thats weird.. i tested it all day yesterday and i did not get exp from quests

my main is 23 and my trial is 16. i only get exp from quests below level 18

i just tested the other method.. had my trial with me when i killed yowler at level 16 and my main was 23. still did not get 3x exp, this has been patched

When my trail is with me and is around three levels lower, I dont get 3x mob exp, but i get quest exp still at turn in with him beside me. Just did like 4 turns in for about 20k. Have to test to see if it's only quests my trial could get normally.

Just did some more testing, when a friend of mine grouped with me to run me thru an instace I didnt get 3x exp when i turn in a quest. but when i dropped group and invite my trial it worked fine. Could just be the quest level range but currently 28 and trial is still 20 (the max).

This seems to be working fine if the other character is within a similar level range to you but of course it would be...thats the whole point.

The advantage the OP gave was that you could just summon a lvl 1 alt when you handed in your quests and this would give you 3x quest xp until your level 60. As awesome as this is, i cant be arsed paying for a 2nd account just to level quicker. And theres no chance ill make it to 60 in 10days before the trial runs out!

Leveled 1-60 in 5 days with a lot of downtime with this trick. However you'll be short on gold if you don't have someone to provide you with it :]

yeah i got 58 last night on my rogue, but it ran out around lvl 51.

Right now i think i got 6 days play time, 300 mining, and 275 engi.

2 hours 32 minutes to 10, thats how i got in to BC beta... BC.... during the con leveling contest...


Edit: getting to 20 in 2 hours should NOT be a problem if you know what to do.
