First of all, very good post!
I don't know, this might seem hard, as the Horde Character is probably a lowlevel, but if you're using the Booty Bay Auction House, then you could just go to Ratchet and sail to Booty Bay with the Horde Character.
When the Horde Character has landed, you go onto your Alliance Character and put the item on AH for like 1c or something...
Then you relog the Horde and buy it, after that, you can probably sell it for a nice amount of money, without having to take away the 20% Gold from yourself.

And btw...

You scan people? i feel so sorry for you that you sit at BB and click the auctioneer every 2 minutes until you see something which you can buy and that really makes you feel good. not only does that fail hard but everyone who read your post is loling in their pants at your stupidity

Well, if he's making nice money on that, who are you to question his methods? If some superior/epic - I don't know - is put on BB AH for 1c, then he could totally nail it for a lot of Gold, without being illegal.

you cant buy stuff on the same accounts say your Horde and you create a noob alliance on the same server and same account and you put an auction in the BB thing on horde and try buy it on your noob Ally it wont work last time i check that is

You can climb trught the mountains there the orcs and trolls start ( There is an spot behind the starting area, search the walls untill you find an secret path ) and land at ratchet, you will be killed by level 20Mobs, just take spirit healer and your in ratchet. I think this will help..

I found that path about two years ago.. i know how to reach the most of the places, just start searching for glitches..

Also, BB auction house takes like 20% from your profit, so it is hard to transfer money to another side.


And, because you are in no way alone doing this, realm items are usually same price on both factions.

Actually it's 15%, and there's always a difference in prices.
And how to not lose money, transfer cheaper items back for 1 copper which equals the value of the items you bought on the opposite faction.

it all has to do with supply and demand, i suppose if one side had a much higher pop. there would obviously be a considerable difference in price.

This theory has been reposted before, and is not an exploit. Yes it works, a lot easier with 2 accounts since you can communicate during the trade, but PvE pussies probably hold hands with other faction and share vents and crap anyway (I wouldn't know, I play PvP). But selling items to the other faction isn't practical at all. The Neutral AH takes a HUGE cut of the gold, so unless it's going to be a retardedly huge profit, it's not even worth the time.

Buying from the other faction on the other hand works out really well. Just talk to the person who has the auction up in their own faction's AH or even just selling something in trade. Then pst them saying they know someone (yourself) that would like to buy it on alliance/horde side. Ask them if they will go and put it up in the Neutral AH for the same amount and they will buy it, or add on like 5% if they do it within a half hour. So they put up a 300g item for 315 if they think they're smart and going to make extra gold.

Then you work it out and they put it up, you buy it, and they actually make less gold than their original price. This is nice for PvP servers since you get a steal of a deal on an item that's high on your faction's AH, and they get jacked of their profit.

Good point. Proves that the OP didn't even test this. 3,900g my ass. Plus he couldn't have even made that much with his 750g profit off of just 5 vortex's.
