[Working] Tested Name Change Method

Anyways after reading his post, shown below, I came to the conclusion that making up fake beliefs or essentially any plausible reason to say a name is offensive, then having your friends cite a similar reason many times over will get you a name change. I tried this, and over the course of 3 days and about 4 friends complaining, I had to change my name. Actually, I tried it twice but the second time they didn't allow me to pick my name, instead it was automatically generated. So hopefully this helps somebody out.

i got a free name change on my character before. my name was ecstasy, so i got on one day and i had to change my name because someone had reported it saying it was offensive, so free name change. so if you dont like your name...get a few people to report it saying its offensive for some reason...and who knows it may work

OR you can can delete your character and then ask your friend to create a character with the same name you have..
Then u open a page with a GM and say that you missdeleted the character or that you got hacked and someone delete your character and ask for a char restore..

it's way easier, it just takes some time (max 1 day).. i know some ppl who did this and they got their character restored almost instantly.. and changed their names

i've done this for a long time, it works... and if you can do it for free why pay $10, i think some of you just don't have good money management.

gets expensive after a while, $25 for character transfers for 3 chars sucks.

Well, when I had a tauren warrior lvl 1 (Scam char) with the name "Retardos" I got reported for that name. So after a while I had 2 change it, but the problem is that you get a warning for that... Not worth that imo for just a name change

Warning! DO NOT listen to this guy!

I have had my name reported for being offensive, and the GM WILL NOT let you choose what it is changed to. You will get a RANDOM, uneditable name the next time you log in.

However, if you approach a GM yourself, rather than get reported, and tell him you are worried your name will be reported, he will more than likely let you choose a new one. The next time you log in and choose that character, it will prompt you for a new one.

i definately got to choose my name once it got reported. i was on spinebreaker server and i changed it from ecstasy to brassuer, but i have recently changed to ghostlands under the name ecstasyy hoping for it to happen again!

my friend got reported for the name "jeffydohmer" and was forced to change it, after it was changed (to "jeffyd) he had his brothers report him and changed it back to "jeffydohmer."

Not giving rep since this is kind of obvious, but it does work.
